Terms of Service

1. Scope

These Terms of Service govern the use of the “LFG Tool” Discord bot and related services.

By adding, using, or continuing to use the Bot, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Bot.

2. Description of Service

LFG Tool is a Discord bot designed to support group finding, automate LFG-related posts, link and manage voice channels, and provide additional server-related features.

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. No entitlement exists to any specific functionality, uninterrupted availability, or future development.

3. Eligibility and Compliance

Your use of the Bot must comply with Discord’s Terms of Service, Discord’s Community Guidelines, and all applicable laws and regulations.

Server owners, administrators, and moderation teams are responsible for ensuring that use of the Bot on their server is lawful and compliant.

4. User Responsibilities

You agree not to misuse the Bot. Prohibited conduct includes, in particular:

• exploiting bugs, vulnerabilities, or malfunctions,
• spam, flooding, or abusive automation,
• attempting to disrupt, overload, damage, or interfere with the Bot, its infrastructure, or connected systems,
• reverse engineering, circumventing technical restrictions, or abusing APIs or integrations,
• using the Bot for unlawful, harmful, harassing, deceptive, or fraudulent purposes.

5. Content, Reposts, and Moderation

The Bot may automatically process, reproduce, forward, or repost user-generated content, including text messages and LFG-related posts.

The Bot does not actively review, filter, screen, or moderate such content. Content is generally processed or reposted automatically and without prior content review.

Responsibility for all content reproduced, processed, or reposted through the Bot, as well as for moderation of such content, lies solely with the respective Discord server, its owner, administrators, and moderation team.

The Bot operator assumes no responsibility or liability for user-generated content, including its legality, accuracy, completeness, or permissibility.

6. Availability, Changes, and Discontinuation

No warranty or guarantee is given regarding uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, compatibility, or response times.

The Bot may be updated, modified, restricted, temporarily disabled, or permanently discontinued at any time. Features may be added, changed, or removed without prior notice.

7. Suspension and Termination

The operator reserves the right to restrict, suspend, or permanently block access to the Bot for individual users, servers, or communities at any time, in whole or in part.

This applies in particular in cases of violations of these Terms, abuse, or where such action appears necessary for technical, organizational, or legal reasons.

8. Third-Party Services

The Bot relies in whole or in part on third-party services and infrastructure, including Discord, hosting providers, network infrastructure, and other technical service providers.

No liability is assumed for outages, malfunctions, limitations, API changes, or other disruptions caused by such third parties.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Bot and all related services are provided without express or implied warranties of any kind.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator shall not be liable for:

• loss of data, data corruption, or loss of configuration,
• loss of profits, loss of use, or other indirect damages,
• consequential, incidental, special, or exemplary damages,
• damage resulting from outages, malfunctions, security incidents, or third-party failures,
• content or actions of users, server teams, or other third parties.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability to the extent such liability cannot be excluded under mandatory law.

11. Changes to these Terms

The operator may update or modify these Terms at any time with future effect.

Your continued use of the Bot after updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding conflict of law rules where applicable.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable in whole or in part, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
