This Privacy Policy explains how LFG Tool processes data when you use our website and Discord bot.

1. General Information

We aim to minimize data collection and only process data required for the functionality of the bot and website.

2. Website Data Processing

Server Logs

When visiting this website, the hosting provider may automatically collect technical data such as IP address, browser type, and access time. This data is used for security and technical stability.

Both the website and the bot are hosted on servers located in Germany.

Cookies & Consent

This website uses a consent system that allows users to control which optional technologies are enabled.

Google Analytics (optional)

If you give consent, Google Analytics is used to analyze website usage. This includes anonymized IP address processing and interaction data. Google Analytics is only loaded after explicit consent.

3. Discord Bot Data Processing

LFG Tool only processes the data required to provide its functionality within Discord servers.

The following data may be stored:

  • Server IDs
  • Channel IDs
  • User IDs (for permissions and interactions)
  • Configuration settings

No message content or personal profile data from Discord is permanently stored. Reviews submitted via the website are stored only as required for their functionality and can be edited or deleted by users at any time.

4. Voice Channels & Logs

Voice activity logs are not stored by LFG Tool.

If enabled, logs are generated in real time and posted directly into a user-configured Discord channel within the respective server. These logs remain fully under the control of the server owner and are not stored or accessible by us.

Only technical identifiers (such as channel and user IDs) are processed and temporarily stored when required for core functionality. No additional personal data is collected or stored.

In certain cases, a user-defined voice status (set via moderation panel) may be stored as text. This is required for the feature to function and will be improved if Discord provides official support for this in the future.

5. Debug Logging

To maintain stability and diagnose issues, minimal debug logs are stored temporarily.

  • These logs contain only technical identifiers (e.g. IDs)
  • No message content is stored
  • Logs are automatically deleted after a maximum of 7 days

6. Reviews / Discord Authentication

If you choose to submit a review, you may be redirected to Discord for authentication.

When submitting a review, the following data is stored:

  • Your Discord username and user ID
  • The review content you provide

Reviews are publicly visible on the website after approval. Submissions may be reviewed to prevent spam, abuse, or inappropriate content.

Users can edit or delete their reviews at any time after logging in again.

7. Data Retention

Stored data is limited to what is required for operation and is retained only as long as necessary.

When the bot is removed from a server, related configuration data is deleted.

8. Third-Party Services

The following third-party services may be used:

  • Discord (bot functionality and authentication)
  • Google Analytics (only with user consent)

9. Your Rights

  • Request access to data associated with your Discord account
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Withdraw consent at any time
